What is Sussex Kids Hub?
Sussex Kids Hub is an Ofsted approved holiday club for children aged 4 to 11 years old, full of activities all year round. Our approach is simple: a child-led, fun-filled holiday club.
Who can come?
Our holiday club is open to children aged 4 to 11 years old.
How long are the days?
We run from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
Are you Ofsted registered?
Yes, we are. That means you can use Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare to cover the costs.
Who will be looking after my child?
Michelle and Izzy will be leading the day alongside a team of staff, all of whom are DBS checked. There will always be at least one First Aid qualified team member working at any time. Izzy is a qualified primary school teacher and Michelle is a qualified TA.
How do you ensure the safety of the children?
Your child’s safety is our highest priority. We always have at least one staff member on duty who is trained in First Aid, and every activity and location is carefully risk assessed. In addition, our front gate remains locked throughout the day, ensuring that all arrivals and departures are fully monitored.
What if my child feels unwell?
We will always get in touch if your child tells us they feel unwell. If your child has been sick, unfortunately they won’t be able to return until 48 hours has passed.
What if my child gets sick or injured during the day?
We will contact you using the details on your booking form, so please ensure all details are up to date and let us know of any changes.
What if someone else is picking up my child?
If your child is being picked up by someone else, please tell either Michelle or Izzy during drop-off and we will make a note of their name and contact details.
What should my child bring?
Please provide a packed lunch and a filled water bottle for your child. If your child has been booked through the HAF scheme, a packed lunch will be provided. If your child has any dietary requirements, please update your booking form with the necessary information. If the weather is particularly warm, please ensure your child has an adequate amount of suncream applied as well as a sunhat. If your child requires any medication, please provide details of this on their booking form.

Yes, you can. Just use our Ofsted registration number when making your payment.
How much is one session?
Our daily rate is £38.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change, especially with young children. If your child is unable to attend, we’re happy to offer credit for another day. Unfortunately, once your booking has been made, we are unable to offer refunds.
What if it rains?
Rain or shine, we are still able to operate. If it is torrential rain, we will keep the children inside and may use this opportunity to set up our indoor cinema.
How do you handle sun protection?
On sunny days, please ensure your child comes with sunscreen applied and a hat. We’ll remind them to reapply SPF after lunch, and more frequently during particularly hot weather. Please note that while we can prompt and encourage them, we’re unable to apply sunscreen on their behalf.
